While looking through a magazine the other night, my husband, who (in his own mind) has been grooming our daughter for an eventual run at the presidency, comes across a picture of the White House and says to our daughter, “Look, this is your future home.”
Without even stopping to look at the picture, she quickly retorts, “There is no future.”
Ominous, much?
Show Me Love, America!
So when the radio DJs first started playing The Wanted’s catchy tune “Show Me Love”, they would say:
“Coming up next….The Wanted! With…Show Me Love America!…”
And I kept thinking it was this British plea for American music lovers to buy their album.
